Getting Started with Attack Surface Management

If you're a new subscriber, see Attack Surface Management Onboarding for a quick overview of your first steps. As a new Mandiant Advantage Attack Surface Management (MA-ASM) customer, there are several recommended steps as you get started.

To be successful, there are some core concepts you'll need to understand: 

• Understanding ASM Seeds
• Understanding Technologies

The basic onboarding process includes:

• Creating a Project
• Creating Collections using Workflows
• Collections Overview
• Reviewing Entities
• Reviewing Issues

You'll also want to provide access to your Projects & Collections to others:

• Adding users to your Projects and creating Groups
• Assigning roles within your Collections

You may want to send information from MA-ASM to other systems, or from other systems to MA-ASM. You can do that using a variety of integration options:
