AEDA Notification Settings

When you run Monitors, you may want to receive alert notifications. Notification Settings is the feature you use to configure the messages, which can be create in several different formats and profiles. You define what is included in the message, who receives the message, and when a message should be sent. To view and edit Notification Settings, go to AEDA > Notification Settings. The Notification Settings page, shown in the screenshot, consists of the following:

  • Notification Formats: Defines the message formats that will be sent (e.g., AEDA Notification With Missing Events).
  • Notification Profiles: Defines the Monitors that use a specific Notification formats and who receives the notification. If you have created Monitor Groups, you can use them here to do one configuration for multiple Monitors. The profiles also determine how Monitor failure notifications are sent.
  • Notification Queues: Displays previously sent notifications for the last 30 days. Here you can review any notifications that were sent or failed to send, the last time the message attempted to send, and view or delete queued items.
