This page provides access to the installation packages for Security Validation.
When you access the individual software download pages through the links that follow, you are prompted to sign in. You must sign in with a valid Mandiant account to access these pages.
The key components available for download include the following:
- Director: The management platform where you configure, schedule, and analyze validation tests.
- Actor and Protected Theater: Actors are the agents that execute the tests. They can be deployed on various systems. For tests involving active threat samples, Actors should be deployed within a Protected Theater, which provides a sandbox environment to safely contain and observe their behavior.
- Security updates: Contains the latest security patches for on-prem Directors and Actors. These can be applied manually through the web interface or CLI if automatic updates are not enabled. These updates address OS vulnerabilities and include updates for MSI integrations.
- Content Packs: These packages deliver the intelligence-driven testing capabilities, including a vast library of attack techniques, malware samples, and validation scenarios, updated by the Mandiant Validation Research Team.
