Setting up your Protected Theater includes two major steps:
- Setup the Protected Theater
- Installing & configuring the Protected Actor
The primary steps for creating a Protected Theater and populating it with a host image are:
- Adding the Protected Theater (using either the OVA or VHD installer)
- Registering the Protected Theater with the Director
- Configuring the customer Gold Image
- Creating user accounts
- Windows: Enabling macros in Microsoft Word
- Importing the customer Gold Image into the Protected Theater
You do not need to disable User Account Controls or Windows Secure Logon. If you choose to do so, the Actions may run marginally faster. For instructions on how to complete these steps, see Windows Host Configuration.
The process for Installing & Registering the Actor varies based on which operating system you're using.
