The Validation Platform Windows Actor can have separate interfaces for management and testing. These interfaces can only be setup using vregister; you cannot use the Director to edit this information for the Actor.
When you run vregister, two things can happen regarding interfaces:
- Single Interface detected: automatically assigns the interface to both management and test
- Multiple Interfaces detected: Prompts you to select the interface to use for Management and Test
If you have multiple interfaces but vregister does not recognize more than one, verify each interface is:
- Enabled
- Has an IP Address
