The Managed Defense Portal provides you with the information you need to track your Managed Defense subscription service metrics, act on Investigations, and determine the overall health of your appliances and software ecosystem.

The Managed Defense Portal contains various menus that allow you to quickly access information about any threat-related activity, including threat alerts and reports, and information about the health of your network and endpoint devices. The following table describes the menus available in the portal:

| Activity | View and respond to compromise reports including Investigation and Incident alerts. |
| Hunting | View the status of threat hunts and related Investigations in your environment. |

| Endpoint Management | View information about the details of your endpoint software and devices. |
| Resources | View announcements and create summary reports. |
| Settings | Create, edit, and view user and organization profile information. |
| Contact Us | View contact details for your Managed Defense Consultant (MDC) or Google Cloud Customer Care. |
Managed Defense Portal authentication
You must use federated access to sign in to your Managed Defense Portal account. To configure access, see Federated access for the Managed Defense Portal.
API
Managed Defense offers technology integrations to its portal through an API to pull information related to published Investigation Reports. Any integration between the API and your systems is your responsibility to maintain. If you would like to integrate with this API, please reach out to your MDC for the appropriate documentation and access keys.
