The Endpoint Files library is available in the Director and allows you to easily add files to your Protected Actor. The endpoint install files for the most recent version of the Windows Actor are available in the Endpoint Files. You can also use the library to upload files or packages that are up to 500MB. Files listed in the Endpoint Library can be accessed by VNC or consoling into the Protected Actor and then opening https://<director-ip>/files.
You can get all Actor installers from the Actor Installer Files library.
To open this library, select Library > Endpoint Files.

NOTE: To use malicious files, use the Files Library and not the Endpoint Files Library.
Once you have the files you need in the Endpoint Library, you can access and use them from the Protected Actor.
- Click Environment > Protected Theaters.
- Locate the Protected Actor, expand its Actions menu and click Edit.
Connect to the Actor using VNC or the Console.
NOTE: The console is only available if you're using MSV (on-prem). See Connecting to PT using VNC or the Console for additional details.
- Open
https://director-ip/files. - Download the file.
- Complete the appropriate steps based on the type of file, such as installing the Windows package.
