The Mandiant Advantage Security Validation (MA-SV) team is pleased to announce version 5.8.4.0 of the platform. This release also includes the MSV 4.8.4.0 Enhancements and Bug fixes.
General Enhancements
- Reduced latency between job processing Actions due to new non-blocking job queue logic. This results in decreased time to execute Actions
- Improved stability of MITRE ATT&CK dashboard
- Addressed issues running Actor communication checks (CTTA) that prevented Actions from running for some customers. Related to this change, CTTA now runs weekly instead of daily
- Actor stability improved due to latency reduction for the Pull Actor API from more than 1s under load to less than 10ms. This eliminates 5xx errors that may have been occurring with the Actor contacting the Director services
- Enhanced Network Map support for multiple organization environments
- Deprecated Protected Theater console support
- More consistent user experience for Actor upgrade status
General Improvements and Bug Fixes
- Minor bugs and usability issues were resolved, including UI functionality improvements, report rendering fixes, and Protected Theater file transfer improvements
