Security Validation (MA-SV) tests defenses with attack behaviors that are real. The knowledge you get from the Validation Platform helps you improve your security footprint. To further help you identify the tuning opportunities and visualize your security posture, the platform has several interactive and configurable reports and dashboards. These are located in the Analyze menu.
The Analyze menu contains the following options (the TAAM Dashboard displays if your license includes TAAM):
- Reports: Allows you to create, edit, and export fully customizable Job Reports
- MITRE ATT&CK(R): Shows performance mapped to MITRE's ATT&CK framework
- TAAM Dashboard: Provides a visualization of how your organization's security controls perform against various Threat Actors
- Summary Report: Focuses on Business Zones, Attacker Behaviors, Stages of Attack, and key Attack Vectors
- Gauges: Infographics that provide specific statistics
The MITRE ATT&CK Dashboard, Gauges, and TAAM Dashboard are highly configurable and can provide information across various attack vectors, malicious behaviors, Security Zones, and other dimensions of interest.
Reporting metrics can be affected by features intended to minimize noisy events:
- Actions excluded from reporting
- Integration event filtering
