These steps apply for the following environments:
- A fresh installation of MSV 4.13.0.0 or later
- An upgrade from a previous release with no existing integrations
- An upgrade from a previous release with existing Mandiant SecOps Integrations (MSI) Service
- The on-prem specific steps only work on OVA-based installations of the Director. If you have a non-OVA installation, see Configure the Mandiant SecOps Integrations (MSI) Service for Installer-Based Directors for more information.
- The updater service used by New Integrations makes an outbound connection to IP ranges for the Google Artifact Registry (GAR). Calls to these IP addresses are expected and may appear in network logs. A successful response from GAR is not required for the service to start correctly.
Start Integrations service
- On the Integrations Service page, select Integration Service Actions > Start Service.
- Read the confirmation, and then select Start Service. After several minutes, the Service Status changes to Running.
Upgrade to the latest (MSI) Integrations Service
After starting the Integrations service, install the latest security patch to get the latest list of supported security technologies to appear.
- Go to Security Patch Downloads and download the latest patch.
- Install it on the Director using the appropriate method. See Update Security Validation Components for more information.
