Authentication Settings

This is only valid for the MSV (on-prem) version of Security Validation.

The Security Validation Director can be integrated with other systems for authentication. By default, the Director is set for local authentication. However, you can configure the Director to use one of several systems for authentication:

Using Active Directory for Authentication
Using Active Directory and Google Authenticator for Authentication
Using Google Authenticator for Authentication
Using SAML for Authentication

IMPORTANT: Authentication integrations are only for authentication - User permissions still needed to be defined in the Validation Platform.
