Custom Dashboards in Mandiant Advantage let you build dashboards to quickly review the information you're most interested in. Widgets are included for Attack Surface Management, Digital Threat Monitoring, and Threat Intelligence.
For details on all available widgets, see Custom Dashboard Widgets.
Create a dashboard
The following steps describe the easiest way to create a dashboard. However, you can skip or revisit steps, such as changing the location or size of a widget with the Widget drawer still open.
The Dashboard automatically saves after each Widget is added.
- From the App Switcher, hold the pointer over Dashboards and then click Create a New Dashboard.
- Name the dashboard and then click Create Dashboard. A blank dashboard is displayed with the Widget drawer opened. Widgets are grouped by product.
- Add widgets to your dashboard.
- Locate the widget that you want to add and in its header, click Add.
- (Optional) Modify the Widget Name and click Save.
- Repeat for each widget you want to add.
You can go back and copy, edit, or delete a widget by using the buttons in the widget's header.
- Close the widget pane.
- (Optional) If the widget has filters, choose the filters you want to use (for example, by country or industry).
These filters can be updated in both view & edit modes. Any changes you make, regardless of the mode you are in, are always saved.
- (Optional) Configure the location & size of your widgets.
- Rearrange widgets by clicking in the widget's header and dragging it to its new location.
- Resize a widget by using its resize option, located in the bottom right corner of the widget.
- (Optional) Click to prevent your dashboard from being further modified and to see all available widget filters.
How widget Filters work
Some widgets let you filter the data using one or more filter categories. When you select multiple filters, which filters you select determine whether you're performing an And or an Or search.
- Selecting multiple filters from one category results in an Or search. For example, match APT 38 or APT 29.
- Selecting one filter from two or more categories results in an And search. For example, match APT38 in Finance.
- Selecting multiple filters from two or more categories results in both And and Or searches. For example, match APT 38 and Finance or APT 29 and Finance.
Manage your dashboards
You can use the Manage dashboard area to create, edit, and delete dashboards. You can also reorder how dashboards appear in the App Switcher.
- From the App Switcher, hold the pointer over Dashboards and click Manage Dashboards.
- Manage your dashboards as desired:
- To create a dashboard, click Create New Dashboard.
- To edit, copy, or delete a dashboard, open its menu and click the desired option.
- To modify the order the Dashboards are displayed, click Order Locked to unlock the existing dashboards. Drag the dashboards to reorder them, which determines their order in the App Switcher.
- To launch a dashboard, click its Launch icon.
Pin or unpin dashboards
- From the App Switcher, hold the pointer over Dashboards, and then click Pin this item next to a dashboard you created. The dashboard appears in the global header, making it easier for you to pivot from a dashboard to a specific module in fewer clicks.
- (Optional) If you decide that you want to remove a dashboard, return to the App Switcher, hold the pointer over Dashboards, and then click
Unpin this item.
