The Mandiant Security Validation team is pleased to announce version 5.14.4.0 of the MA-SV SaaS platform.
Announcements
- A banner has been added to the platform to provide advance notice of the upcoming service retirement date:
Urgent: This Mandiant Advantage Security Validation environment is scheduled for decommissioning. Action is required to maintain service. Please contact msv-migration@google.com and schedule your migration date prior to June 30, 2026 to avoid losing access and/or data.
Enhancements
- The Action Version ID is displayed in the Action Queue, allowing users to identify which version of an Action is scheduled.
- When expanding job details on the Job Status page, the Action Version ID is visible, providing clarity on the exact action version being run.
- The list of Actors that are available to run actions only displays Actors that have recently checked in and are online, preventing selection of unavailable Actors.
Bug fixes
- Resolved an issue where creating a Monitor with a large number of Actions could result in a 500 error.
Known issues
- When you add the first MSI integration on a Remote Integrations Actor, the integration does not get detected. To fix this, reboot the Actor after the first MSI integration is selected for that Actor.
- Local Event Filtering works as expected but is limited to Match Action, Match Integration, and Match Events (when the latter involves Raw Events). If a rule has a Match Event condition for any field other than Raw Event, the rule does not apply to Local Events. It only applies to events from standard local integrations in Security Validation.
