Adding Web-based Actions

  1. Select Library > Actions.
  2. Click Add Action and select Web.
  3. Enter the server port.

    NOTE: When running a web Action, you can change this setting using the runtime parameters.

  4. Enter the HTTP Version.
  5. Choose Yes or No for Use HTTPS.
  6. Expand Step 1 and fill out the information:

    1. Request method and path
    2. Request headers
    3. Request body
    4. Response code
      Click rc to see possible response code options.
    5. Response headers
    6. Response body

  7. Click Verify Length next to Request body to verify the length of the request headers and body are the same length.
  8. Click Verify Length next to Response body to verify the length of the response headers and body are the same length.

  9. (optional) Click Add Another Step and then repeat steps 5-7 for the new step you added.
  10. Click Next.
  11. Populate the Add Web Action form

    1. Name
    2. Description
    3. Attack Vector
    4. Attacker Location
    5. Behavior Type
    6. Covert
    7. OS/Platform
    8. State of Attack
    9. (optional) User Tags
  12. Click Save Action.

    The Action Library displays. A confirmation message that your Action was created successfully is shown and the Action is selected and displayed in the Action preview.
