Once your Threat Intelligence Integrations have been added and have finished syncing for the first time, you can quickly start validating the effectiveness of your defenses. We suggest you start with the Priority Evaluations for the Threat Actors you're most interested in. There are several different ways to proceed, but the following procedure is the quickest way.
To run your initial TAAM tests and view your results
- Click Library > Threat Actors.
- Use Tags, Dimensions, or text-based search to identify the Threat Actor you're interested in and then click on it to populate the Threat Actor Profile details. (See Locating a Threat Actor in Managing Threat Actors.)
Scroll to the Evaluations and Sequences section. Here you'll see the Evaluations that were created by the platform. Find the ones that start with Priority, right-click on Run
in the Action column, and click Open in a new Tab. This way, each Evaluation opens in a new tab, allowing you to stay in the Threat Actor Library. (For more information about using Evaluations and Sequences with Threat Actors, see Understanding Threat Actor Information in Security Validation.)

- Select the Actors for each of the Evaluations and run them.
- Return to the Threat Actor Library, select additional Threat Actors, and repeat the process to queue up the Evaluations.
Click Analyze > TAAM Dashboard. Here you can review the results. If you want to modify it to view more data or adjust the thresholds of the charts, you can edit each panel.
