  • Actors 2.0

    • This release is relevant to Freemium, SecOPs, and Fusion subscriptions. All actor dossiers available at the client's current subscription were updated to the new Actors 2.0 format as part of this release.
    • Mandiant's new Actors Explore release includes improved filtering, a new follow feature, as well as usability enhancements to improve the experience of users investigating threat actors by providing the following:
      • Follow threat actors that matter to you and return to your personalized list at any time.
      • Relevant and new reports are easily accessible in the new activity section and new tab view.
      • New industry and malware used by threat actors are easily accessible in the new activity section and flagged in the UI.
      • Ability to quickly see changes to actor activity over time (e.g., updated use of malware families, tools, and vulnerabilities as part of TTPs).
      • Associated campaign visibility is directly available within an actor's dossier.

    • Significant additional vulnerability intelligence data, improved filtering, and usability enhancements has been provided to improve the experience of users looking for vulnerability intel in MATI as follows:
      • Increased context on vulnerabilities by adding 17 new data elements and improving the existing 4
      • Increased speed to publication through the analysis pipeline
      • Added vulnerability filters to enable users to drill down directly to the most important vulnerabilities based upon tier technology and industry footprint
      • Added a vulnerability timeline to the Vulnerability Details page
      • Improved tabularization in order to improve readability and make it easier to find the most relevant information
      • Added exploit grading to depict via graphs how many and what types of exploits exist for a specific vulnerability
