You can override the results of Validation Actions by switching the status of a single Action in a Job from "blocked" to "not blocked" and vice-versa with the Override as Blocked / Not Blocked option. You may want to select this option when the results of Validation Actions do not align with your own analysis. The Platform captures system-derived outcomes and user-supplied outcomes separately, such that you can specify to use your supplied outcomes for Actions, which are then propagated into reports you can use to present results that are more aligned with your analysis.
This functionality must first be enabled in Advanced Settings.
Go to Jobs > Job Status.
Open the Job that includes the Blocked / Not Blocked status you want to override from the Job Status list.
Click the
icon to the right of the Blocked / Not Blocked status and count of Events generated.Select Override as Blocked / Not Blocked.
Once you have selected this option, a notification displays beneath the displayed blocked / not blocked Action status.
Be aware that changing an Action from "Blocked" to "Not Blocked" suppresses all events that triggered the Action to be marked as Blocked. The system logs all Actions performed to modify the Job Action result in the audit log, attributing the user, change type, status change (for example, blocked > not blocked), Job ID, Job Action ID, Action name, and timestamp of the change.
