Working with Monitor Groups

You can group Monitors together into a Monitor group, which helps you to organize and administer Monitors. For example, you can create a Monitor group that is built for a particular use case (e.g., DLP) or that delineates responsibility (e.g., Network Engineering Group). With a Monitor group, you can easily add multiple Monitors for notification.

Adding a Monitor Group

  1. Go to AEDA > Groups.
  2. Click Add Monitor Group.
  3. Provide a Name for the group.
  4. Drag Monitors from the Unassigned Monitors or Assigned Monitors pane into the Current Monitors pane.

    Monitors that appear in the Assigned Monitors pane belong to another Monitor Group. Monitors can belong to multiple groups.


  5. Click Submit.

Editing a Monitor Group

  1. Go to AEDA > Groups.
  2. Locate the Monitor Group you want to edit.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Make changes as needed.
  5. Click Submit.
