Setting the Alternate Hostname

Integrations can use the alternate hostname of an Actor. Once you have installed and registered your Actor, you can configure this alternative as described in the following procedure.

To set the alternate hostname

1. Launch the Director.
2. Select Environment > Actors.
3. Locate the Actor you want to configure, open its Action menu, and click Edit .

4. Enter the alternate hostname, as shown here.

   NOTE: This field supports several formats, such as standard FQDNs, domain\machine and domain\\machine
