Confirming Actor-Director Communication

After completing the Actor installation process, verify the Actor and Director can communicate.

To Confirm Communication

1. Launch the Director.
2. Verify you see the Actor in the Map.
3. Go to Settings > Director Settings. The System Settings page opens.
4. Verify the Actor is present in the Actor Versions list.
5. Click Check Version and verify you receive the "Version pulled from Actor name: version" message.
6. Select Environment > Actors and verify the Actor is listed.
7. Click Edit next to the Actor and verify you see the expected information:
   • The appropriate Interfaces and routing
   • Information regarding what the Actor can talk to
   • Supported capabilities
