User Preferences is where you view and configure your preferences for the Validation Platform. This includes:
- Email and Name
- Password
- Notice fade out time (for Messages)
- Debug Link visibility (available based on your assigned user group)
- Google Authenticator (when Google Authenticator is required)
- Time zone, which affects the times displayed in the Job Results page
- API key
- User-specific Messages

Flash Notification Messages Overview
The Validation Platform displays important flash notification messages for various reasons and as a result of specific actions you take in the platform. These messages appear as cards that display in the top-right corner of the UI (just below the navigation menu). In some cases, these message cards can be stacked, such as when you enter incorrect values or information multiple times (see the following figures for examples of notification message cards).

Viewing and Deleting Records of Your Flash Notification Messages
You can view information about and delete the records of Platform flash notification messages you have received in the Messages page. This page includes the following columns:

Created At: When the notification message was created

Message Type: The notification message type, such as Alert or Notice

Message: The text of the notification message or message ID

Actions: Action you can take for the message, such as Delete
NOTE: Records of the flash notification messages are kept for 30 days.
To View/Delete Notification Messages

Go to User > Messages. The Messages page opens.

To delete an individual message, locate the specific message from the Messages list.

In the Actions menu, click the Delete button next to the message.

To delete all the messages in the list, click Delete All at the top-right of the list of messages.
